Well, obviously if you're seeing this page, then you know I finally got the new layout up. This is cause for saying 'yay'.
Also, somehow, I've lost my Google Ads toolbar. I will worry over this later as it is growing late and I am soon bound for my bed.
Money troubles are still in effect. However, I may be getting a loan from a coworker that will be paid back next check; this does help, actually, since paying bills off this go round means less I have to pay off on said upcoming check. But, as mentioned, donations are still open.
Stand My Ground is coming along nicely. I hope to have the Halloween edition (set six months to one year in the future of the SMG/Jillian-verse) out by the end of the day Monday.

At the moment, I am having financial troubles. SunTrust Bank is screwing me over, and as it stands I am going to have to decide what bills not to pay. I run the very real risk of being sent to creditors again as I have a car payment in two weeks, a Dell payment that should have been this week, a Victoria's Secret payment that should have been this week and a Verizon bill that has to wait another two weeks on top of the two it's already waited.

I am still considering layouts for this blog. I will most likely be changing the layout tonight or tomorrow night; when I do I will be adding a few affiliates as well as links to my stand-alone fiction blogs. I have already added Google Advertising in hopes of getting a little extra flow.
No new additions to the main part of the Asylum at this time.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to cap the new layout that I'm thinking of using for my blogger. I did, on the other hand, get the icon blog/page created and edited the way I like. You can reach the page by going back to the main index of the Asylum and clicking on "icons" or you can just click here. And please, to anyone who uses any of the icons, remember to credit me. The info on how to credit them is in the menu on the left hand side of the icon page (next to Rikku).
One more note: The icon page (as well as the entire site) is best viewed at 1024x768 resolution. Any lower settings and you lose 90% of the side links. Unfortunately the only way I can fix this is to reset the side panel, and it looks strange the image scrolls up. However, if this does prove to be a problem to visitors to the site, I will reset the layout to scroll.
And the CAPTCHA that kept showing up when I tried to post here has vanished!
Seriously, I think it's a good idea to keep the spam out as much as possible, but I don't think my poor innocent little update-and-icon bloggers fall into that category... and another user even said they didn't seem that spammy to him; he thought they may have actually deleted one of my blogs since he didn't see any of the three as spam.
*sigh* Oh well. I'm still waiting for opinions on whether to upload the new Hints layout. I'll try to post a screencap of the layout on Photobucket tonight to share, see what everyone here thinks.
I've made a new layout for this blogger, but I'm not sure if I want to set it up yet. The main reason is, I used a fanart for the background, and about a month ago I got bitched at for using fanart without crediting the artists. I'm trying to get all the pages on the main part of the Asylum credited even as I type this.
Basically, on the new layout about the only editting I did to the artwork was crop off one word and move the image up slightly; the artist's name and the website s/he's affiliated with are still there from the original. So the big question is, should I go ahead and upload the new layout with the artist and website clearly visible, or just keep the Ryoko layout?
And yes, I do want comments on this to see what others think. And no flames, please, because after the last wankfest that started on my previous Asylum blogger I'm thisclose to locking this to registered users only.
Well, I did what I said I was going to and made this blog my official Asylum blogger. Rejoice!
Secondly, as the title proclaims, I have created a fic blogger. No, it's not a full fiction blog like the one over on LiveJournal; this particular blogger is for one fic only, an AU Yuugiou fic I'm working on. The reason it gets its own home is for one simple reason:
I'm delving into yuri, and I've done some genderflipping in order to do so.

For those who didn't know, I've had this particular blog for a few months now. It was initially used to rant about things; but I decided to clean it up and make it the official blog for my site, the Asylum. So check back here for updates on the site itself.
