As of this morning, DarkMagick.net is relocating servers. There won't be any downtime during the move, so all the sites will still be active.
However, after the move, the url http://darkmagick.net/ryoko/ or variations thereof will no longer work; at most there will be a notice of the new address. The new home of the Asylum is going to be http://asylum.darkmagick.net
Also during the move, I'm going to be clearing out some of the files that are no longer updated. I know I have at least five old layouts still uploaded and I really don't need them any longer....
Actually, it's not that remote a possibility, given that the current webhost for DarkMagick and, by extension, The Asylum is giving us a run around yet again. For some reason, using www.ryoko.darkmagick.net doesn't work while ryoko.darkmagick.net is just fine; it's the opposite for Marika's site - renza.darkmagick.net is a bust but darkmagick.net/renza works just fine.
So, we're looking into a relocation. Angel has one pretty much picked out for us and we'll be starting to relocate shortly. So keep an eye on the LiveJournal for a while instead of here; it's a strong possibility that I'll be retiring ryoko.darkmagick.net in favour of asylum.darkmagick.net
Well, I was out of town for a few days for Thanksgiving, but I'm back now. At the moment, the server seems to be down but by the time you're seeing this post, it's working now.
The only real update at this time is the newest batch of icons over in Katsuko's Icons. There are eighteen new icons as well as two bases that can be used to create your own icons or as textless icons. I'm trying to be good about giving credit these days, so all the images that I know the artist for or where I got the screencaps are noted. All I ask is that if you take an icon, credit me and if possible the artist who did the original. Many kudos go to Kokoro no Naka for most of my YGO screencaps ^_^
In the next month or so, there will be a new section added to the Asylum under the fiction heading. I have ventured into writing Fullmetal Alchemist, and will be adding that to my main fiction index. Also on the fiction index I'll be adding a link to my 100 Themes blog, where all my submissions to the 100 Themes community on LiveJournal will be housed. Since I have two different series and pairings I'm writing for, there will be close to 200 short stories by the time I'm through the challenges.
